AAP Client Screener
As the first step in seeking our services for AAP application or appeal help, we ask that you submit all relevant documents (e.g. test scores, potential work samples and, if an appeal, copy of initial AAP application) via email for our review. This will allow us to determine whether or not we feel confident your child is a good fit for our AAP process. Because of the limited number of spaces we have in each AAP cycle, we only take on clients we feel are ideally suited for the program.
Please note that this fee is non-refundable regardless of our determination and will include a document review as well as a 15-minute phone call in which we explain our decision and concerns in the event that we are unable to take the case. If selected, this fee will be applied toward the balance of your package.

The Laurens consult with parents on initial applications or appeals to help create the most thorough application possible for a child. This includes but is not limited to:
-Initial meeting with parent(s) to review data and prior AAP application (if applicable) in order to determine areas of the application that can improved to best convey why your child would benefit from full time AAP services (e.g. work samples and cover letter).
-Make determination as to whether additional testing is recommended
-Review work sample options to ensure that samples chosen are most illustrative of your child's unique strengths
This service includes 90 minutes of consultation for a fee of $675 (the first $75 applied from the screener). A fee of $100 per additional 30 minutes of our time is applied as needed.
